TIPS FOR PRACTICING

Experiencing the full benefits of Sophrology requires practice. It's like going to the gym - you don't go once and then run a marathon. Introducing the habit of 10 to 20 minutes a day can lead to lasting results.

If that seems too hard, then try using these opportunities to insert 1 to 5 minutes of practice in your day:

  • Your daily commute

  • Standing in a queue

  • Holding on the phone for a call centre

  • Waiting for the kettle to boil

  • Walking anywhere

Become aware of how your body feels inside, releasing any tensions you discover, and use a breathing or dynamic relaxation exercise.
